Welcome to Tazouda. These terms form a clear and respectful foundation for the relationship between Tazouda ("we", "us") and its members ("you"). By joining, you agree to these terms.

1. Membership & Philosophy

1.1 Admission: Admission to Tazouda is a discretionary process. We reserve the right to decline an application to preserve the integrity of the community.

1.2 Freedom and Autonomy: Membership is built on absolute autonomy. There is no requirement for active participation. Your membership remains active regardless of your attendance at gatherings.

1.3 Termination: We reserve the right to terminate a membership with immediate effect in the event of a serious breach of these terms, particularly those regarding discretion and conduct (Article 3).

2. Financial Terms

2.1 Initiation Fee: Membership is activated upon receipt of a one-time, non-refundable initiation fee.

  • Founding Membership (first 100 members): $35,000
  • Standard Membership: $70,000

2.2 Gathering Costs: A separate fee is charged for each gathering. Participation is confirmed upon full payment of the respective fee.

2.3 Gathering Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellation by Member: More than 8 weeks before the event: full refund minus a 10% administration fee. Between 4-8 weeks: 50% refund. Less than 4 weeks: no refund, except in cases of verifiable force majeure.
  • Cancellation by Tazouda: The full fee for that gathering will be refunded.

3. Discretion and Conduct

3.1 Confidentiality: Discretion is the core of Tazouda. All information about other members, their identity, and conversations during gatherings is strictly confidential and may not be shared outside the network.

3.2 Media and Publicity: It is strictly prohibited to take photographs or videos during gatherings, or to publicly communicate about the details of events or the identity of attending members.

3.3 Non-Discrimination: Discrimination or harassment based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, nationality, or any other protected characteristic is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of membership.

4. Liability & Governing Law

Tazouda acts as a facilitator. We are not liable for any agreements made between members, nor for personal injury or loss of property, unless caused by gross negligence on our part. These terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Geneva. However, we encourage members to first contact us directly to resolve any concerns amicably.
